Our eyes tire really rapidly; the more we see in a room, the less we can process-- it's called stimulus overload. When there is too much to see, we do not see anything.
A couple of suggestions:
Nix Those Personal Photos
Ensure there are no individual photos to be seen anywhere in your listing. Pack them up or put them away. Buyers tend to stop and see who lives there, which takes them far from seeing the house's qualities!
Don't Let Furniture Obstruct
Arrange the furniture so that it does not obstruct any of the home's functions and enables simple traffic circulation. In some cases that suggests eliminating some furniture-- the more furniture in a room, the smaller sized the room looks.
