Developers plan to start work in March on the huge Crystal Lagoon waterpark and fountains that will be built east of Dallas on Lake Ray Hubbard.
California-based architects Lifescapes International said Monday that they've been hired to design the overall landscape of the $1 billion Bayside development in Rowlett, which will include the Crystal Lagoon.
"Guests and residents will enjoy the 8-acre crystal lagoon and fountain, as well as over four miles of lakefront trails, an open-air trolley and a Town Center Park, all surrounded by the most high-quality office, retail, residential, and hospitality product in the market," Julie Brinkerhoff-Jacobs, president of Lifescapes International, said in a statement.
